About the Project
This research will analyze and review national and local policies and practices relevant to the implementation of Agenda 2030, and establish the current state of play with regard to government plans for the implementation of Agenda 2030. This includes a stakeholder analysis, current policies and plans in place the incorporate or seek to contribute to the SDGs and policies and practices that should or could incorporate the SDGs into their frameworks.
A preliminary set of results will be presented at the project conference on January 30th, and the final report will be published in April 2017.

Aims and Objectives
The overall aim of this research is to analyze areas of policy and action that contribute to the achievement of the SDGs in Malta. This includes:
- The development of a metric that allows for the checking of laws and policies against the SDGs
- Understanding the contribution of NGOs and other non-governmental entities in work related to the achievement of the SDGs
The outputs of the reseach are expected to be:
- A presentation
- A report on the current state of play of Malta and Agenda 2030. This report will include both national laws, policies and practices, as well as Malta's contribution towards the SDGs within its ODA role.

The People for Change Foundation's role
The People for Change Foundation is developing the research on the basis of legal and policy analysis and interviews with key stakeholders. This research is a unique opportunity to understand Malta's progress torwards the achievement of Agenda 2030, whilst highlighting ways forward.
Project Outputs
